Ok so the place i'm currently living turned to shit...
I mean the people weren't who they said they were, they constantly made digs about me, and the under minded me when ever possible and lets not forget their children's AB NORMAL tantrums and behaviour...
I've worked in childcare for 2 years and studied it for 2 years and i have NEVER seen or had to deal with kids like theirs.. EVER... but it wasn't the childrens fault, it was the parents LACK of discipline, no meant yes and yes meant yes in this family.
The children ruled the roost and that was that.
It was Crazy and ridiculous! I was just a cheap dollar sign to them! i wasn't even a person!!
So i'm currently going into 're-match' which is an anxious situation to be in!!
I mean everyones on their best behavior (inc me) so how do you REALLY know if some is who they say they are!!
I mean the current situation i'm in PROVES that people lie to get what they THINK the want...
I have two interviews with potential host families today... and i REALLY hope everything goes well...
All i want is to find the 'perfect' match for me, and be able to do my job happily, be apart of the family, be treat like a human being, and be able to enjoy my stay in the United States...
I think my 1st HF forgot that, this is a cultural exchange as well, not just a cheap way to get some one to look after your children...
I'm a bit nervous to meet these families, but hopefully all goes well!!
